The guestrooms at Kapiti Waves Beach Retreat are so comfortable! I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud with the premium bedding and separate sitting area. I loved having free WiFi and a minibar too!
The only thing I didn't really like was the separate bathtubs and showers. It's just a personal preference though, I know some people may enjoy it.

We had a lovely, comfortable stay at this beachfront retreat for a weekend getaway. The room was clean and well-equipped with a kitchenette and generously stocked fridge for breakfast. The private bathroom was a highlight, with a relaxing tub and nice bath amenities. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, and the beach right on our doorstep was beautiful. The location was also convenient, being halfway between Waikanae and Wellington or Hutt Valley.
I do recommend this hotel.

The breakfast was decent and there was a good variety. The Wi-Fi worked well and the view was amazing. The beach was just a short walk away and there were some shops and restaurants nearby.
The room was not very clean and had a musty smell. The bed was uncomfortable and the sheets were scratchy.
